Emerald T5 Fluorescent Illuminated Edge Lit Blade Signs for retail display and signage

This EMERALD light box uses T5 fluorescent tubes which highlight the edges of lettering and graphics engraved into clear acrylic as they catch the light. This is the favoured method for the production of reception signs and 'translucent' display of graphic designs.

The EMERALD can also be manufactured to create illumination for blade signs and displays that require a transparency or back lit print. We replace the clear acrylic with an 'active' acrylic, and reflective backing panel.
The printed graphic is sandwiched between the active acrylic and protection sheet which is secured in place with transparent clips.

Our traditional style edge lit blade signs use a 45mm x 84mm aluminium profile with 240v T5 fluorescent lamps and takes a 10mm acrylic panel.

The illumination travels through the clear acrylic and highlights any engraving.

To make engraved outline lettering stand out from any background, engraved graphics can be infilled with vinyl.

Engraved acrylics can become even more attractive by using colour filters wrapped around the T5 Light fluorescent.

In the Artillus sign above, the Cool White fluorescent lamp has been half wrapped with a Blue and Orange colour film to create an interesting effect although the photography doesn't show it effectively.
